UCNJ's Fitness Center is OPEN to registered students, faculty and staff with a valid UCNJ ID.

Wednesday: 7am - 7pm

Friday: 7am - 7pm
Saturday: 9am - 2pm

All member must present a valid UCNJ ID and wipe down all machines before and after usage.
Locker rooms are available. Please bring your own lock and remove all belongings after your workout.
Athletic Waiver Form is required to be completed by every UCNJ student, staff, and faculty to use the Fitness Center & participate in Intramurals.
The Fitness Center is intended to promote a culture of healthy living amongst UCNJ students, faculty, staff.
FEES:
- Current UCNJ Students - FREE for currently enrolled student with valid ID
- Full-time Faculty/Staff - FREE with valid UCNJ ID

- Hammer Strength Squat Racks with Bumper Plates
- Precore Smith Machine
- Treadmills
- Exercise Bikes
- Ellipticals
- Water Rower
- Weight Machines
- Free weight area
- Men’s/Women’s locker rooms and showers
FITNESS CENTER RULES:
- No videotaping at any time in the fitness center.
- Headphones must be used when listening to music.
- No personal speakers.
- Limit the use of cell phone for personal phone calls.
- Only drinks in non-breakable, spill-proof sealable containers are permitted.
- No gum is allowed.
- For the safety of all users, weights and dumbbells must be returned to their
proper storage rack when last set is complete. - Slamming or dropping weights is strictly prohibited.
- Plates, dumbbells, and bars are not to be leaned against or placed on
upholstery or against any wall/mirror or equipment. - No deadlifting permitted.
- The equipment is not to be moved from its location. Free weights are only
permitted in the designated area. Benches are not permitted in the stretching
area. - Equipment may only be used in its designated area and as intended to be used.
- Do not use, adjust, or operate fitness equipment without proper training or
instruction. - Do not operate equipment that has loose or damaged parts. If machine fails to
operate correctly, do not attempt to repair. Immediately report to Fitness
Center Staff.
DRESS CODE:
- All Fitness Center participants must wear appropriate athletic footwear during
all exercises. - Sneakers are required in all areas at all time of the gym.
- High-heels, cleats, spikes, boots, sandals, slides and crocs are not permitted.
- Shirts must be worn at all times. Cropped tanks, halter-tops, muscle tanks, and
sports bras with appropriate coverage are permitted. - Jeans, jean shorts, khakis, etc. are not permitted in the fitness center area.
Failure to adhere to the rules and regulations in the UCNJ Fitness Center may result in individual suspension from using the fitness center.
