UCNJ Assistant Director of Athletics Dianna Constable Celebrated as Union County SHERO Award Recipient

Cranford, NJ - UCNJ Athletics Department is proud to celebrate Assistant Director of Athletics Dianna Constable on being named a recipient of the prestigious Union County SHERO Award this year.

Presented by the Union County Board of County Commissioners, the SHERO Award recognizes extraordinary women throughout Union County who have made meaningful contributions to their communities through leadership, service, and dedication. Celebrated in honor of Women’s History Month and Mother’s Day, the award honors women whose impact continues to inspire and uplift those around them.

Constable was recognized for her extraordinary commitment to empowering student-athletes and transforming lives through education and athletics. Throughout her tenure at UCNJ, she has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to the academic success, personal growth, and future opportunities of the student-athletes she serves.

In her role within the Athletics Department, Constable has played a pivotal part in helping countless student-athletes navigate their collegiate journeys while pursuing both academic and athletic success. Her guidance has helped students graduate, transfer to four-year colleges and universities, and continue working toward their bachelor’s degrees and long-term career goals.

Beyond her administrative responsibilities, Constable serves as a mentor, advocate, and role model for student-athletes from diverse backgrounds. Whether assisting with the transfer process, helping students navigate eligibility requirements, connecting them with recruiting opportunities, or simply offering encouragement during difficult moments, she has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure students feel supported and empowered.
