Region XIX Golf Tournament Concludes After Two Days of Competition
Scotch Plains, NJ - The 2026 Region XIX Men’s and Women’s Golf Tournament took place May 11-12 at Ash Brook Golf Course in Scotch Plains, NJ, bringing together some of the top golfers from across the region for two days of competition.
On the men’s side, Rowan College of South Jersey - Gloucester captured the team championship with a two-day total of 617, narrowly defeating County College of Morris, which finished second with a score of 628. Rowan College of South Jersey Cumberland placed third overall with a team score of 654.
Individually, Jake Morgan earned medalist honors for the men after posting an impressive two-day score of 136. Julian Boyer finished runner-up with a total score of 151.
In the women’s competition, Miya Villari claimed medalist honors with a two-day score of 201. Teammate Brynn DiGamberardino followed closely behind, finishing second overall with a score of 203.
For the Owls, Henry Bowman, David Guydan, Joshua Scarfone, Theo Shapiro, and Shoshana Handwerker were on the green to represent UCNJ!
Known for its challenging yet rewarding design, Ash Brook Golf Course once again proved to be an ideal host site for the regional championship, testing golfers on every shot while still providing opportunities for strong scoring performances.
The top golfers from Region XIX will now prepare to compete at the NJCAA Men’s and Women’s National Championship beginning June 2 in Chautauqua, New York.
