Owl's in Prime Position Heading into Final Week of Season
Week 6 Esports Recap:
EA FC 25:
UCNJ’s Sebastian Jaramillo earned a win against Guilford Technical Community College. Sebastian now sits at 3-3 on the season. In the final week of the season Sebastian will be in competition against another opponent from Guilford Technical Community College on 11/11/24. Sebastian will have to win his next match to have any chance at making the playoffs.
Fortnite No Build:
The Fortnite team rebounded nicely after suffering their first loss of the season last week. The Owls won their match against Johnston Community College 2-0 this past week to take sole position of 1st place. The Owls will take on Lakeland Community College to close out the season and try to secure the number one seed for the regional playoffs.

Call of Duty Gunfight:
The Call of Duty Gunfight team extended their win streak to 12 in a row to start the season. The Owls took on Heartland Community College to start the night. The Owls took care of Heartland in three straight games to win the series (6-0, 6-1, 6-0) . To close out the double header the Owls took on Gordon State College. The Owls won the series 3-0 on a forfeit. The first place Owls now sit at 12-0 with 2 games remaining in the regular season. The Owls will next be in action for a doubleheader against Pensacola State College and Hawkeye Community College on 11/14/24.

Mario Kart 1 vs 1:
Santiago Puerto leaps into a tie for first place after extending his winning streak since his first loss. Santi went on to win his first series against Iowa Western Community College 4-0. For the second match of the week Santi won 4-0 against Wichita State University- Campus of Applied Sciences and Technology on a forfeit. Santi is back in action on 11/14/24 against Bevill State Community College.
Rocket League:
The UCNJ Owls Rocket League Team split their double header. The Owls won their first match against Brookdale Community College 3-0 (1-0, 2-3, 2-8). The Owls lost their second match in hard fought contest against Heartland Community College (2-4, 3-1, 1-3, 6-3, & 2-3). The Owls currently sit in 8th place with a 8-6 record with their final matches of the season against Waubonsee Community College & SUNY: Onondaga on 11/15/24

Mario Kart 4v4:
The Owls 4v4 Mario Kart Team bounced back from their loss against Marshalltown Community College by defeating their sister team from Marshalltown. The Owls were even kind enough to return the favor with a 2-0 sweep. The Owls will be back in action on 11/13/24.
