VINELAND, NJ- The Lady Owls move to 6-0 on the season in their latest triumph over the RCSJ- Cumberland Dukes.
The Union County Women's Soccer team has extended their undefeated start to the season with a dominant performance of RCSJ- Cumberland on Saturday. Kiana Veleso-Lima led the Owls with 2 goals. Victoria Fernandez, Cyanna Gonzalez, Amanda Benitez, Sarah English, Lindsay Wielgus, Iris De Souza, and Sara Antunes all had one goal apiece in what turned out to be a feeding frenzy for the Owls. Wielgus also led the team with three assists on the day. Destine Alarcon did not see a single shot on goal in what was also a strong showing on defense. The Lady Owls are back in flight on Tuesday, September 24th in an away match-up with Bucks County Community College.
